Welcome to Embodied Heart Healing. By booking a session, participating in programs, or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Nature of Services
The services provided by Embodied Heart Healing include somatic bodywork, energy work, and transformational coaching. These modalities are designed for personal growth, emotional exploration, and holistic well-being.

Non-Medical Disclaimer: These services do not constitute medical advice, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or licensed healthcare services. Diane Squier, also known professionally as Dahlia, is not a licensed physician or mental health therapist.

Client Responsibility: You are fully responsible for your own well-being and decisions during and after sessions.
2. Booking, Deposits, and Cancellation Policies

Screening & Deposits: To protect time and the private, home-based workspace, all first-time clients are required to complete a screening protocol and submit a verified government-issued ID. Additionally, all sessions require a nonrefundable $150 deposit at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests made with at least 48 hours notice will allow your deposit to be transferred as a credit toward your rescheduled session. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled session will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Lateness & No-Shows: Arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior communication will be treated as a cancellation and a no-show, resulting in a lost deposit. Please note that arriving late does not extend the session time; your session will still conclude at the originally scheduled end time.

Refunds: No refunds are given for sessions, packages, or programs for any reason.

Right of Refusal & Misconduct: Embodied Heart Healing and its practitioner reserve the absolute right to decline service, refuse entry, or immediately terminate a session at any time if safety, boundaries, or studio policies are compromised. In the event of termination due to client misconduct, boundary violations, or substance impairment, no refunds or credits will be issued, and the full session fee remains due.
3. Client Safety, Code of Conduct, and Active Consent
A strict zero-tolerance policy for boundary violations and altered states is maintained to ensure a safe space for both practitioner and client.

Substance-Free Policy: To ensure absolute physical safety, clear cognitive presence, and valid mutual consent, Embodied Heart Healing maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Clients arriving under the influence of, or suspected to be impaired by, alcohol or non-prescribed substances will have their session immediately terminated with zero exceptions, immediate forfeiture of fees, and no refunds or credits issued.

Autonomy & Boundaries: Your autonomy, boundaries, pace, and voice are honored at all times. In turn, clients are expected to maintain absolute respect for the practitioner's physical boundaries and studio space.

Health Disclosures: Clients must disclose any relevant physical injuries, medical conditions, or psychological vulnerabilities prior to bodywork or coaching sessions to ensure safe facilitation.

Active Communication & Consent: Somatic bodywork and energy work are highly collaborative and participatory. While your boundaries and pace are deeply honored, you acknowledge that the practitioner cannot read your internal state. You agree to communicate clearly, verbally, and immediately if any touch, pacing, movement, or exercise feels uncomfortable, exceeds your boundaries, or requires modification. You understand and agree that the practitioner shall not be held liable for any discomfort or outcome arising from unexpressed boundaries, and that you retain full autonomy to pause, modify, or stop a session at any time by clearly voicing your needs.
4. Intellectual Property
All content across this website, including text, copy, graphics, branding, and audio/video resources (including content related to We Can Relate!), is the intellectual property of Embodied Heart Healing unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability and Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the client agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless the practitioner, their business entities, and workspace hosts from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or demands arising out of or related to any minor, temporary, or ordinary-negligence-based injury, property loss, slip, fall, or premises accident experienced on the property or as a result of the services, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct. Embodied Heart Healing and its practitioner, Diane Squier (Dahlia), shall not otherwise be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in sessions, coaching, workshops, or the use of this website.
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California or the State of Florida, corresponding to the physical location of the practitioner at the time the service is rendered. For virtual or digital sessions, these terms shall be governed by the laws of the state or jurisdiction in which the practitioner is physically located during the session.
